Similar day to everyone else it sounds. Marginal conditions but was up and going most of the time on the big board and sail. What definitely helped was that i've still lost weight as a result of the london marathon last month. 9lbs less really makes a difference to early planing, the only problem being that some of that loss was upper body strength which tells when handling big sails. Moral - lose some lard round the middle and save yourself the expense of new kit!

Love Portland though hence the third star. It was my first time down there and i can now see why it's so popular; well worth the extra drive from London.
